A Little Tit

Oh good, another "Van" someone.  I was missing Van Jones.  You gotta love what Van Hollen (the democratic chairman for the committee of cornmuffins or whatever) says here about Republicans: “Why would you hand the keys to the car back to the same guys whose policies drove the economy into the ditch and then walked away from the scene of the accident?”  Starting to see where I'm going with this?

Turbulent example, my friend!  No evidence, not a shred of fact, just a cold hard punch to the gut.  That's the liberal way.  But how would a guy with no imagination come up with such a pithy retort?  Oh yeah, from Ted Kennedy's example of what it means to be a true compassionate liberal.  Too bad you never walk away from a midnight burger run with ol' Teddy.  Like the bumper sticker says, "I'd rather go hunting with Dick Cheney than go riding with Ted Kennedy."  Wait, aren't we filling his senate seat?  Weird juxtaposition of comments and events there...

Hollen continues: “For the Republicans to say vote for us and bring back the guys who got us into this mess in the first place, I don’t think it’s a winner.”  Too bad you can't connect that logic to Barney Frank. 

Anyway, enough cheap shots.  Just felt like engaging in a little tit for tat this evening.  Liberals say the funniest things.
